Heidi Hansen from Vordingborg was healed from systemic Lupus SLE at a "Power of the Spirit" meeting in Korsør, 2002. Here is her account of how she and her family came to faith and experienced "The Spirits dimension"                                                                                                                                                     

Hell of Pain
Heidi was suffering from excruciating pain due to systemic Lupus, SLE.
"The symptoms started 10 years ago when as a 19-year-old I started to get pains in my hands and wrists. The doctor sent me to the rheumatologist department at Hvidovre hospital to be checked. Here they diagnosed a form of joint arthritis, or something that resembles joint arthritis. After this nine years passed, with more and more stiffness and pains", Heidi says.
It was not until her former doctor retired approximately a year ago, that the treatment seriously began.
"I was MR scanned and I had a lot of blood tests taken. The result was a new diagnosis, Systemic Lupus (SLE), which is a chronical tissue disease. Since then I have been for check-ups at Bispebjerg hospital every 5-6 weeks, in order to have blood tests taken, but approximately six months ago the pains started to get so bad, that it influenced my work. I had pain in my entire body: feet, ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, neck, elbows, wrists, and fingers. Most of my joints were swollen so "just" getting out of a chair could be a serious problem. Another problem was the painkillers I was prescribed to take which had started to affect my liver. Instead the doctor prescribed adrenal cortex hormonal injections which brought a lot of relieve. Suddenly I was able to do it all, but only for a while. After approximately 14 days I was back in a pain hell and there was still four weeks to the next doctor's visit and the next injection. The effect from the injections was increasingly shorter every time I got them so I ended up complimenting them with the pills", Heidi explains.

Run three times
Heidi remembers clearly what happened that evening during the"Power of The Spirit" meeting in Korsør.
"After the teaching Christian Hedegaard asked if there were any questions. During the teaching however I experienced something in my legs. I asked if Jesus could cure a chronicle disease. "Of course", Christian replied. Human beings are after all not created like that..."
When the call came for those who wanted prayer to come forward, she went forward with her father who was suffering from a back problem and was only able to work a half day job. Heidi was now asked to act in faith and got up with great pain. Her mother went forward as well, when the symptoms matching her condition was mentioned.
Camilla Holstein from Evangelist started to pray for those who had come forward.
"After the prayer she asked me to go to the wall in the back of the room, put my hand on wall and say: Thank you Jesus! and return. I did this three times, before I was allowed to sit down again. I sat for a while with the tears running down my cheeks, and then Christian came over to me. He prayed for me as well, and afterwards he said that I should get up and run. It sounded crazy to me, but he counted to three, and then I had to run.
I ran three times that evening. I was so happy with what had happened and with the encouragement I got, Heidi says.
But it wasn´t only Heidi who experienced the power of God, the rest of the family was touched as well, While Heidi was running, Christian Hedegaard was speaking to her mother, father and younger sister and what was happening to Heidi was so overwhelming they all believed. It ended up with all of them praying the sinner's prayer with Christian and receiving Jesus in their hearts.

More miracles
After this it was time to drive back to Vordingborg:
"On the way to the car my father noticed that the muscles in his back were relaxed, which he had not been for many, many years. His back did not hurt anymore! The pain in my legs had likewise, had disappeared. We did not say much on the way home. I think we had to digest the miracles we just had witnessed", Heidi remarked.
It was an unforgettable trip home. Suddenly Heidi's mother, who was seated in the back of the car, noticed that her eye had just opened up. Six and a half years prior she had had a brain haemorrhage, which caused her to loose sight in her right eye, but now suddenly her vision was even better..!
"Four days later my father went to the social office and reported for full duty. He related his experience to the social worker who remarked,.. let's fill a bus with sick people and drive there so we can save a fortune in National Health Insurance benefits! My father is working full time now and he has not been sick since".
Heidi and her entire family is attending the free church in Bibelværkstedet, Nykøbing F., and all their friends are astonished about the miraculous events that took place. Heidi herself is free from pain and so pleased with the calmness and peace she has found in her new Faith. To Jesus be all the praise...!
