The acupuncturist Jan Grundvad often met Evangelist at the health fair in Copenhagen. Here he saw the power of God demonstrated and experienced subsequently how the meniscus in his jaw came into place.

Jan Grundvad from the sanatorium and treatment centre Addithus was at the health fair in Copenhagen as an exhibitor.
At the fair he had a stand just diagonally opposite Evangelist and he felt the spiritual power emanating from the team there:
- There was a strong spiritually bond between us. A strong feeling of solidarity which is difficult to define. They had a fantastic charisma and we liked their way of being humans, Jan tells.
My fiancée Grace and I spoke quite a lot with them and went through the power tunnel several times during the weekend. One of our friends was quite sceptical, but also went through the power tunnel. She almost was hit to the ground by the power of the Holy Spirit and had to go for a couple of rounds more. I also bought a Bible, and it has been following me ever since, Jan tells.

Seeking God
On the way home in the car Jan and Grace talked about what they had experienced.
- I have for several years prayed that God would use me, actually without knowing what I was praying to. Now I know it is Jesus, Jan says. The following weekend there was a health fair in Herning, and Jan and his fiancée decided to go again, not at exhibitors but as private persons. They had a couple of business matters they cancelled:
We wanted to go to the meeting about the Power of the Spirit by Christian Hedegaard, and then we would like to know more about Evangelist, Jan says.

The miracle in the jaw
During the meeting Jan experienced clearly manifestations of the power of God. For several years he has had problems with pain in his jaw and in his neck. A cartilage in his jaw had got stuck; medically there was nothing to do, nothing that could solve his problem.
Before the meeting Jan's jaw was healed:
I sat in the front row and saw how Christian Hedegaard talked to two people in the second row. They wanted to be free from cigarettes, so he prayed for them. The only thing I heard was the sentence "and then you let go now!" At the same time there was a big noise in my head when my jaw came into place. It was so violent that I rang before my ear, he says.

The loving care of God
The miracle with the jaw was exactly what Jan needed:
I am educated acupuncturist with speciality in back problems and know everything of the structure of the jaw, especially not least from my many cracks of whip patients. The damage I had can make you feel pain all the way to the sciatic nerve and the big toe. There is no medical treatment for these sufferings so when the miracle happened to me it was obvious that it was God's care for me and his way of telling me that he was there. With the background and knowledge I had the healing of the jaw was the most miraculous He could do to my body.

Jesus is the way
After the lecture Jan and Grace had confirmed that they were on the right track:
I have all the time had a dialogue with God; I just did not know where to put my focus. I know somebody who studies theology in Aarhus but what they were taught there I could not fit into my picture of the spiritual world. I did not find anything that matched the power. Not in the states church or in any other religious communities, Jan tells.
Earlier I have read the Bible without understanding it. I tried to get in contact with God, but I could not get to him. First when I met Jesus though Evangelist, the pieces of the puzzle fell into place...

Now we are running...
Jan and Grace went to Vildkildegaard and participated in the evening meeting with Christian Hedegaard:
Once again we experienced the power of God. Both of us fell to the ground and some kind of deliverance happened, Jan says.
The week after they went to Goerloese to visit the team from the health fair and a week later they started at the power school. Jan closed his acupuncturist clinic in Aarhus down in six days and is also in the process of closing down the sanatorium and treatment centre Addithus where they have cancelled all courses.

Following they both have joined Evangelist as co-workers.
The meeting with Evangelist fell like ink on blotting paper. Everything has happened so fast. It is like we have been sitting in the starting block for a 100m race. There have been a couple of false starts on the way, but now we are running, he says.
